Aluminum Mainspring Housing

I Had these Full Size Aluminum Mainspring Housings custom machined out of 6082-T6 Aluminum. This is the same
aluminum used in the racing bikes on the tour de france. I then bead blast them to a perfect matt finish and off to the
anodizer they go. They all get a Hard Anodize which produces a coating that is denser and more abrasive resistant
than your regular sulfuric anodizing. The Aluminum Mainspring Housing Housing weighs in at only 17 grams which
is 2.6 times less than the same MSH made out of steel. We'll be offering these MSH's in a 20 Lpi checkering and a
smooth for the full size 1911 to start. Compacts sizes are soon to come. So do you really want that Plastic MSH in
your $900+ gun?

Front Strap Tape

After using different grit tapes I have found one that stays put and is easily replaced. More importantly though,
one that does not shed it's grit. I have also found a non-grit / textured rubber tape that adheres just as well.
It is textured more like an aggressive stippling. I have them die-cut to fit most full size 1911 front straps.
Some trimming may be needed. They will be sold in packages of three.
