Prompted by the guys at Heirloom Precision, I am pleased to bring you these traditional Double Diamond stocks made out of Linen Micarta and G10 laminates. Through some trial and error, I believe we got it just right. After taking a close look at what is on the market today, I can honestly say these are the very best you'll find. Each grip is hand finished after they are precisely cut with our CNC machines. Not only are they beautiful, but functional as like everything else we make. The G10 material allows us to cut the diamond pattern a little sharper which in turn gives the grip more bite than your traditional double diamond grip. The linen Micarta is bead blasted after the CNC process which gives them a comfortable medium texture. They will be available for both regular and square bottom (magwell) full size 1911�s.

These are the same texture as the Double Diamonds above but they only measure .187” in thickness. Great for
those with medium to small hands or just for those who like a slimmer profile for concealed carry. I personally use
these on the majority of my 1911’s. Slim screws and bushing are needed and can be ordered on the Hardware page.

The 320's are a stunning grip. Smooth in appearance, the bold layers of micarta
laminate are very pronounced. Minute mill marks are left unpolished which give these grips a 320

These are some serious grips! We place large aggressive checkering on 1/3 of the grip next to the front strap then deep diagonal ball cuts the rest of the way around for a Iron-Clad grip. I am making the Operators available in both Black Paper Micarta and Black G10 composite. The G10 will weigh a little more (2.1 oz) and have more bite whereas the Black Paper Micarta will weigh less (1.5 oz) and have a bead blast finish to tame the beast (a little...) Both grips will have all corners, sides, and carry points broken and smoothed for comfort. The appearance on these are identical and would be hard to tell apart.

I have had numerous requests for an aggressive 1911 grip for the tactical members and weekend match goers. Something with a little bite. This is what I've come up with. A big old nasty 5 dpi (diamond per inch) grip. I make these in both Micarta and G10. The G10 Diamond Backs are by far the most aggressive grips we produce. I wouldn't recommend them for all day carry, but some do and swear by them.

VZ Alien™ Grips

They were originally designed for the Precision Weapons Section of the U.S. Marine Corps. I have recently been getting so many calls for them that I decided it was time to add them to the website.
