I received the grips yesterday. Kind of neat. I installed
the Green/Black on a Parked Springfield that has scallops.
This is very similar to the Pistol I am doing for the Handgunner
Giveaway. I hope to be able to shoot it over
the weekend. I like the feel. I like a thinner grip and
these feel thinner.I was surprised at the Red/Black. They
look like a dark pair of coco-bolo grips I have on a Pistol.
I am sure I will be placing an order next week.

I've received the grips. I like the profile and the overall feel of the canvas Micarta coarse blasted grips. The plunger tube support looks good, which is a feature lacking on some custom grips. The edge finish and execution of all the machine cuts is done very nicely without leaving sharp edges and corners. I build high end custom 1911's, and am always looking for new grips to use with my guns.

I received your outstanding grips in the mail a few days
ago and immediately put them on my Kimber. I love the feel
they give the pistol.It compliments the checkering of the
metal beautifully.
I have tried a number of different types of grips for the
1911 from wood to rubber to laminates to carbon fiber.
They all have their good and bad features. But your
grips are the first ones I have found with which I can find
no drawbacks. The novel "Gatorback" design is
incredible. It, along with the canvas micarta material,
gives the grip just the right amount of friction in a slim
profile.And the appearance gives the pistol a pleasing,
subtle tactical presence.
The only other thing I can say is, "Keep making them
like this"! You have a great product and I will
do my part to pass the word to everyone I know who carries
a 1911 that these are the grips they need to have on their
pistol.

We received the three sets of grips today. When I opened the package with my son and daughter we were a little disappointed. The green grips appeared very subdued and the black/red grips looked very dark...almost black. However, once we put the grips on the frames of the 1911's....wooooo hoooooo, "they looked Marvelous!"

I received my grips from you yesterday and they look great on my Kimber. This is the fourth set of grips I have purchased for this particular gun (much to the chagrin of my wife) and I finally found what I was looking for. I don't usually purchase grips sight unseen (because of color variances, etc...) but these were better than they looked on the web site and feel thinner and more secure, too. Please find attached some JPG.'s of your grips on my fullhouse 1911. The gun was made for me back in 1994 when Ed Yost was still at Gunsite. I recently had the gun refinished by Robar. unfortunately, I was not aware that the ³tiger shark³ stippling on the front strap would be somewhat nullified by the NP3. Thus, I had to achieve a better grip via the grip panels. Your grips fit the bill, not too rough, but enough for a better purchase of my constant carry gun. Thanks again for your prompt service.

I just received and installed my set of blasted black canvas grips for my Kimber Pro Carry. I was hoping that they were going to be nice, but I had no idea they would be this nice. Not only do they look great against the blue finish, but they feel even better in the hand. The slimmer grip profile is great for concealed carry. The grips I received for my 1911 are great! I can't say enough about them. The abrasive texture allows for a secure grip. While unlike rubber grips, They don"t cling to clothing. Everyone I have shown, are amazed by there quality and feel. It seems that regardless of the hand size of the user, each finger finds a scallop on the opposite side.

Just received my black green linen grips today and there is only one word to describe them. WOW!!! This was just what I was looking for to put the finishing touches on my Springer GI .45 that I recently had customized. The black green on the parkerized finished is simply awesome. I LOVE the grips. I have a Stainless Kimber 45 TLE that was my baby before my grips. Now I have one of the most beautiful guns ever. I have a hard time putting it down. I have had them for a few months now and I still absolutely love them. Great craftsmanship combined with a great look. Sometimes hard to pull off, but you did it. I don't comment very often about products unless they are really good or really bad. I am usually hard to please because I am a skilled perfectionist and I can do a lot of things better myself, but most of the time it isn't practical so I must buy other peoples work. I wouldn't make the grips any different. If you knew me then you would know that this is a serious complement on the quality of your product. I would like to thank you for an amazing product. I just got your diamond back grips for my CQB. These are what I wanted. I have been looking for a more aggressive grip than the original wood that came on the pistol. I guess Wilson finally started to sell your gator backs. I bought a pair and found them wonderful. I also learned where they came from and decided to go to the source. Then I found the diamond backs. I know you said they are too aggressive to wear all day but I just have to say they are the best I've ever used.
Yes they bite, but I like to know where the pistol is in my hand, and when I do drills I like to know that no matter if my hands are sweaty or my grip not perfect, I still will not lose my hold on my pistol.

I have waited to send this because I wanted it to be all inclusive. First, as we talked about, when you get ready to do Browning HiPower grips, let me know and I will send these old Sile grips to you and see what you think.
Second and more importantly, I received the thin Black and Green Gator Back grips about a week ago and installed the bushings and immediately mounted up the grips. I really enjoyed the feel and the profile but wanted to reserved my opinion until I have the opportunity to shoot the gun with them in place. They are outstanding!!
The thinness gives a good front to back index rather than a round feel, and the 'adhesion' between the grips and skin is perfect. My hand slid into place and stayed right where I put it. I really don't know what else to say without sounding like an over zealous teenager, but they are the cat's ass! You will definitely get more of my business. And you might get some from other places because I have shown them to anyone who would look. The aesthetics are perfect with the OD and black gun too. My wife really liked them also, so I am sure a set of thin black ones are in her future also...
So once you get the Browning ones done, I won't have to shop anyplace else :-)

It's been a while since I received the Unfinished Black Micarta Gator grips for my Ed Brown. I put them on the day I got them but I waited to send any comments until I had fired a few rounds. What can I say about your grips that hasn't already been said. It's hard to believe the improvement that your grips offer. I thought the grip of the Kobra was perfect before, but now it's feels like an extension of my hand.

My grips arrived this afternoon and I put them on my Kimber Tactical Custom II. I had been looking for a set of grips that were subdued, had a nice feel, and complimented the matte finish on my pistol. Your grips fit the bill. They look and feel great. I would recommend your grips to anyone looking to ditch their wooden grips on a 1911. Thanks for making such a quality product.

My name is Tom Gastauer, I purchased a set of Black Operator Grips with Wilson Medallions inset into the grips for my Wilson CQB from you. They look awesome and feel great, but that is not why I'm emailing you. I wanted to thank you because your grips literally saved my hands. I was at the range shooting some hand loads and I had a catastrophic ammo failure in my 1911. Apparently the chambered round exploded and ignited the next round in the magazine which exploded, blasting the follower, spring, and the other rounds in the magazine through the grip and out the bottom of the pistol. I actually took a couple of small pieces of shrapnel in the face. Needless to say it was a hair raising experience. I turned the Wilson into a pistolsmith to have it examined (miraculously it was not damaged) and he told me that if I had wood grips instead of the Micarta grips on my gun, I would had wood splinters blown into my hands. I had black stripes on my hands from where the explosion forced its way between the grips and the pistol, but thats all. The force of the explosion was great, the magazine was completely destroyed, but the grips are completely intact, and after I cleaned then they appear to have only minor damage where the grip screw holes are. Amazing!!!! Thanks again for your awesome grips, they look and feel great, and they saved my hands as well.

I just received my grips yesterday. I must say that they are beautiful! They look at home on my Wilson CQB. John, I'd like to order a second set of grips for my Colt Government Model. The ones I had in mind were the black pebble grained Operator grips. Ideally, I'd like the bottoms to be beveled.

I received the grips today!!!!!!!! Installed them and they are wonderful!!! You are a craftsman, thank you for making such a fine product.
I had a case rupture on my carry gun and it blew the right hand grip off splintering it.I wanted the best grips for it and ordered from you.I was getting antsy because it is my carry gun, all is well now.
A women who worked for CPS was kidnapped and found dead( strangled) and when Helicopters were flying low with spotlights on I was thinking " wish I had those grips on the pistol".Those lights will really light up your backyard.
